Beyoncé’s stylist reveals that Blue Ivy, 12, «has the final say» when it comes to choosing her stage outfits.

Blue Ivy Carter is following in her mom Beyoncé’s footsteps in more ways than one.

At 12 years old, Blue Ivy not only demonstrates impressive performance skills, but is also becoming a fashion force, with Beyoncé’s trusted stylist Shiona Turini revealing that Blue Ivy is the one who ultimately decides on her stage outfits.

In an interview with *Harper’s Bazaar* released on December 30, Turini shared that Blue Ivy «makes the final choice» when it comes to selecting her wardrobe for the performances.

Throughout Beyoncé’s *Renaissance World Tour* in 2023, the mother-daughter duo turned heads, with Blue Ivy showcasing her dancing talent alongside her mom.

Blue also joined her mom on Christmas Day for a spectacular halftime show at the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens game, which aired live on Netflix.

During the 13-minute show, known as the «Beyoncé Bowl,» Beyoncé performed a selection of songs from her country-inspired album *Cowboy Carter*, while the massive ensemble — including Blue Ivy — wore coordinated white outfits.

Turini spoke about curating the costumes, explaining, «When Bey said she wanted everyone in white, we had to explore different textures, patterns, and accents like fringe, suede, and crystals to keep it from feeling repetitive.»

For Blue Ivy’s costume, Turini said, «With Blue, we get to have a lot of fun because it’s just one independent special costume, and ultimately she makes the final choice.» Turini was thrilled when Blue selected her look, and praised her for how great she looked.

Blue Ivy appeared during the finale of the halftime show as Beyoncé performed «Texas Hold ‘Em.» Beyoncé even made a subtle nod to her daughter, changing the lyrics to «Then spin me in the middle, Blue, I can’t read your mind.»

The two performed an intricate line dance, leading to Beyoncé’s dramatic rise on a platform with the banner reading «BANG.»
