In a heartfelt Instagram post on December 31, Céline Dion reflected on the past year and expressed her gratitude for the unwavering support of her fans.

The French singer, 56, shared a side profile photo of herself with prayer hands, looking up, as she thanked her followers for their love and energy.

«As we wrap up another year together, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks for your unwavering support,» Dion wrote. «Your love and energy inspire me every day.

I wish you all a joyful holiday season filled with warmth, laughter, and cherished moments with loved ones. Here’s to endless possibilities in the coming year. Wishing you a safe holiday and a fabulous New Year!»

In 2024, Dion made her return to the stage after revealing her stiff-person syndrome diagnosis in 2022.

Her comeback performance took place at the 2024 Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony in July, where she sang Edith Piaf’s «Hymne A L’Amour.» She later released a live version of the song in October.

“I’m honored to have performed tonight, for the Paris 2024 Opening Ceremony, and so full of joy to be back in one of my very favorite cities,” Dion shared on Instagram.

«Most of all, I’m so happy to be celebrating these amazing athletes, with all their stories of sacrifice and determination, pain and perseverance.»

Céline Dion continued to support the Olympic athletes, saying, «Whether or not you take home a medal, I hope being here means your dream has come true. Stay focused, keep going, my heart is with you!»

In November, she performed in Riyadh at the Elie Saab fashion show, closing with «The Power of Love» and «I’m Alive.» She also appeared in an NFL promo for the Cowboys vs. Steelers game in October.

In June, Dion shared that her treatment plan was helping her and she was excited about upcoming projects, saying, «I have so many ideas. I can’t wait.»

Reflecting on her journey, she added, «I found strength in sharing my condition, and maybe my purpose is to help others. That is the greatest gift.»
