Dua in a miniskirt with a metallic effect and not only for a new gorgeoսs line
Versace and Dua Lipa have collaborated to create a stunning new clothing collection. On May 24, the campaign officially began, and Dua rocked every style in stunning photographs.
She told Dazed magazine, «They gave me the chance to go into the archive and pull out Gianni’s early prints.»
«We were able to bring [those] back a little bit, modernize [them], and create a fun summer collection I feel very proud of.»
The singer enthused about collaborating with Donatella Versace and said that her collection came to life exactly as she had imagined.
Dua said in a statement, «Donatella and I bonded over our common love of this time of year while developing this collection.
We dug into the archives and found that we were drawn to many of the same references, which was such an amazing and rewarding process.
Versace can be worn on any occasion, and I know I’ll be spending the summer at La Vacanza where I’ll be spending my days and nights.
The collection draws inspiration from Versace’s Spring/Summer 1995 line and includes miniskirts, bikinis, jewelry, dresses, and more.
Each item was jointly created by Donatella and Dua. The well-known designer agreed with Dua when she stated that the pop diva has a «great eye» for style.
Dua rocked a purple metallic little skirt for one breathtaking outfit during the campaign shot, which she matched with a cropped jacket.
She wore a belly chain as jewelry and pulled her hair back into a ponytail. She also appeared on the cover of Dazed wearing a dazzling blue skirt and a white halter top.
A look that was inspired by menswear was also included in the collection’s more formal items. Dua wore a bralette below the unbuttoned blazer.
She also looked stunning while posing by the pool in a vibrant, patterned dress with a plunging neckline, which was undoubtedly the most signature Versace look of the collection.
