As she promotes her most recent film, Maria, a biopic about the renowned soprano opera singer Maria Callas, Angelina Jolie is getting Oscar buzz.

She dazzled in an all-white ensemble at her most recent appearance at a screening and Q&A for businesspeople in Beverly Hills.

The 49-year-old Maleficent actress concealed her more than 20 tattoos with an outfit that had ankle-grazing slacks and a long jacket with a single button.

She accessorized it with a white shirt and open-toed shoes with a leather bow over the toes that were red and white.

Angelina’s makeup included a bright red lip and smoky eyes, while her highlighted brown hair was styled in loose waves.

For her performance as the American-Greek singer, the Gia actress is already receiving Oscar talk.

Maria had its screen debut at the 81st Venice International Film Festival, where it was a Golden Lion contender.

«The greatest opera singer in the world, Maria Callas, faces her identity and life in the 1970s Paris during her final days.»

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Angelina spoke candidly about the vocal lessons she had to play Callas.

Singing lessons were required for several months. After months of practicing singing, she had to take Italian courses, work on her voice, and do all these things like her.

«You make an effort to be exact,» she clarified.

Almost everyone should take an opera lesson, in my opinion. To be alive and never having performed as loudly as you possibly could with your entire body…

Jolie went on, I believe we should all experience it. We are rarely asked to do it, and it is frightening.

«Being all that we can be or feeling all that we feel is rarely asked of us in life,» she said.

The movie makes its Netflix premiere on December 11 and in a few cinemas on November 27.
