Expecting her third child, Brittany Mahomes enters «superhuman mode» with a vigorous workout during her third trimester
Brittany Mahomes, co-owner of the Kansas City Current, is preparing to welcome her third child, a daughter, with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. As she enters her third trimester, she’s going into «superhuman mode» with her workout routine.
On Monday, December 16, the 29-year-old shared several posts on Instagram Stories, giving followers a glimpse of her gym routine while pregnant. In one video, she snapped a mirror selfie in a purple matching bra and leggings from Vitality, proudly showcasing her baby bump and jokingly writing, «Feeling very pregnant 😂.»
In another post shared by her trainer, Kirsty Rae, Brittany Mahomes is seen doing lunges, squats, and light weightlifting.
Rae highlighted that the third trimester is her favorite for training, noting that studies show the body goes into «superhuman mode» to prepare for childbirth, calling it «so badass.»
Mahomes has previously shared her pregnancy workouts, including under-bar pull-ups and lat pull-downs on Dec. 4. Rae praised Mahomes’ strength, captioning the video with «Back injury whoooooo?» and «strong mama.»
Brittany also posted a video of herself doing squats on Nov. 22, proudly showing off her baby bump in workout gear.
In July, Brittany Mahomes and her husband, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, announced they were expecting their third child with a family photo shoot featuring their daughter Sterling Skye, 3, and son Patrick «Bronze» Lavon, 2. «Round three, here we come 🤍,» they captioned the post.
Earlier this month, Brittany shared maternity photos on Instagram, including black-and-white pictures where she posed side-on, cradling her belly in a black maxi skirt and long-sleeve shirt. «Baby girl🥹🤍,» she wrote.
She also posted fall-inspired maternity shots on Dec. 4, where she and Patrick posed in the woods, holding hands and sharing a sweet moment.
Brittany wore a dark green sweater dress over a cropped white sweater, cradling her bump. «Always loving you🤍,» she captioned the post.
