Jennifer Aniston, 55, speaks honestly about her connection with her body, saying, «We really love each other.»

Jennifer Aniston, 55, shares that she has a better relationship with her body than with her sleeping habits, expressing a deep sense of appreciation for how her body has supported her over the years.

In an interview with *Allure*, the actress explained, “We’ve got to love our bodies. It’s doing the best it can. It’s been with us since day one, so we can’t be too hard on it.” She reflected on a conversation with an older man she worked with who inspired this mindset.

«He said, ‘I don’t let the old man in,’ and there was something about that,» she recalled. «Of course, we all age, but how do we thrive as we grow older? It’s about giving your body the attention it deserves.»

Aniston admitted that she didn’t fully embrace working out until her 30s and 40s. “I loved my 30s, but my 20s were a nightmare,” she laughed. «I didn’t understand working out back then.»

Approaching aging with “positivity and gratitude,” she said, “We’re still here. What’s the alternative?” She added that she tries not to focus on age, especially in a world that often tells women what they should be doing at certain stages of life.

However, while her body relationship is stronger, Aniston confessed that sleep is still a challenge. «Sleep and I have a real hard relationship,» she said. «It’s hard to shut the brain down and tell the committee to stop talking.»

She’s been working on improving her sleep hygiene, setting a goal to be in bed by 10 p.m. and allowing herself to unwind, even if some nights don’t go as planned.

Aniston believes in not being too hard on oneself, given the current state of the world. «The world is so mean and negative right now. So why would we do it to ourselves?»

She also follows an 80/20 rule when it comes to health: «Eighty percent healthy living, and then 20 percent is: Go have a martini, eat pizza and burgers, and stay up late with friends. There’s a balance.»
