Jennifer Garner will continue to enjoy quality family time with Ben Affleck and their children, including over the Christmas holiday (Exclusive)

Jennifer Garner will celebrate Christmas with Ben Affleck and their three children.

A source shared that the 52-year-old actress is looking forward to spending the holidays with her ex-husband and their kids — Violet, 19, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12 — after they expressed a desire to be together on this special day.

«Jen really just wants her kids to be happy. She’ll continue ensuring they spend time together as a family and include Ben,» the source reveals.

«They have Christmas plans with the kids as well,» the insider adds. «The children love it when they all spend time together.»

In an exclusive interview earlier this week, Jennifer Garner shared how she and her three kids plan to celebrate the holiday season.

Speaking specifically about Thanksgiving, Garner revealed that her kids are now old enough to each contribute their own dishes to the family meal.

«I have one kid who specializes in mashed potatoes, that’s their specialty, one who loves making apple pie, that’s their specialty, and then I have one who, goodness only knows, what she will make,» the proud mom said with a laugh.

While Thanksgiving is an important holiday for her family, Jennifer Garner revealed that one of her kids couldn’t wait to jump ahead to Christmas celebrations.

«The other night, I got home from work, and my son had Christmas music blasting through the whole house, wearing an apron and making ginger snaps,» she shared about her preteen.

«And it was just like, ‘That’s what I’m looking for. That is the energy I want to see brought to our house right now,'» Garner added.

When it comes to other Christmas traditions, the Deadpool & Wolverine star mentioned, «We’ll definitely go see The Nutcracker, because that’s a huge part of Christmas for me and for my kids — thank goodness I’ve drilled it into them — and just being together with family.»
