Jessie J describes her first full year of motherhood as the «most magical thing to witness.»

This year marked Jessie J’s first full calendar year as a mother after welcoming her son, Sky Safir, in May 2023.

On December 31, she shared a heartwarming photo on Instagram of her 19-month-old son, whom she shares with boyfriend Chanan Safir Colman. In the post, which features Sky in a Brazilian jersey on a beach, Jessie took a moment to reflect on motherhood.

“My 2024 highlight is easy. You. My boy,” Jessie wrote in her caption. “When the clock struck midnight on December 31st, 2023, I was your Mum. My first full year of being your Mum.”

She went on to describe the joy of watching her son grow:

“Watching you blossom this year has been the most magical thing to watch. You are hands down the highlight of my year and my life. I haven’t loved anything more than I love you my angel boy. This song was playing when you came into this world. 🫶🏻🥹 Happy New year 🌎.”

In October, Jessie J shared a series of photos celebrating her son Sky turning 17 months old. She joked that people mistake him for being 3 due to his height, calling him her «tall, charming, hilarious, smart, gorgeous, strong Sky.»

Earlier, in March, Jessie revealed she’s not a «beige mom» by showcasing Sky’s vibrant playroom, filled with colorful foam mats, a life-size rainbow, and toys. «Not bad for a week’s work,» she wrote, sharing how she had pre-ordered and organized everything.

«We like some color over here,» she added, emphasizing that their home is bright and full of personality, just like Sky.
