Kathy Griffin pitched herself as the next Golden Bachelorette during the Nov. 25 episode of iHeartRadio’s Politickin’ podcast. The 64-year-old comedian joked about her post-tour plans, saying she should take over the dating competition.

When asked about her past with Andy Cohen, Griffin reflected on her time at Bravo, admitting she wasn’t his “cup of tea.” She then humorously shared her Golden Bachelorette concept, saying, «In the first episode, I’d hook up with every bachelor and then decide who stays.»

Kathy Griffin believes her version of The Golden Bachelorette would be «ratings gold.»

During the Politickin’ podcast, sports agent Doug Hendrickson, who works outside the show, offered his help, saying, “I know people at The Bachelor; maybe we can make it happen.”

Griffin, who filed for divorce from her husband Randy Bick in December 2023 after nearly four years of marriage, shared the news on Instagram, humorously writing, «Well…s—t.» In a previous interview, she revealed that staying busy with work has been a coping mechanism for her.

“As corny as it sounds, if anything can restore my broken heart, it’s hearing the laughter from audiences all over America and Canada,” she said, adding a playful nod to Europe, «You better call me next.»

She also joked about her crush on Martin Short, saying, «I had my eye on Marty Short, but that trollop Meryl Streep got in my way. You cannot trust these Hollywood phonies,” referencing their rumored romance on Only Murders in the Building.
