Katie Holmes makes her first public appearance since ex Jamie Foxx threw shade at her after their six-year relationship
Katie Holmes was seen for the first time since her ex, Jamie Foxx, made a controversial remark about being ‘cured’ from dating white women

On Sunday, the 45-year-old actress put on a composed front, flashing a confident smile as she strolled through the bustling streets of New York City in a vibrant green, Elphaba-inspired coat. At one point, she paused to strike a pose in front of a Wicked musical poster.
Carrying a large bouquet of flowers, Holmes headed to the Ethel Barrymore Theatre for her matinee performance in the Broadway play Our Town.
Her appearance comes just days after Foxx’s Netflix special What Had Happened Was… aired, which included a pointed comment about their six-year relationship.

At a recent performance, Jamie Foxx made controversial comments, singing, «Sisters, I’ve been cured. No more white girls,» before adding, «I’m back on the black side of town!» He continued with remarks about race, including «potato salad» and «no more spray tans.»
Foxx has had notable relationships with both Black and white women, including Connie Kline (1993-1994), Garcelle Beauvais (1996-2001), Leila Arcieri (2005), and Kristin Grannis (2008). He dated Katie Holmes from 2013 to 2019.
After her split from Foxx, Holmes briefly dated chef Emilio Vitolo Jr. (2020-2021) and musician Bobby Wooten (2022). Previously married to Tom Cruise (2006-2012), she is currently single and focusing on her career.
