Lindsay Lohan’s hairstyle change reads like an adolescent drama queen’s confession
Even though Lindsay Lohan is working hard on a Freaky Friday sequel, her most recent hairstyle change is reminiscent of another classic film character.
The actress, 38, shared a photo of her newly blonde hair on Instagram on Monday, July 29. She said in the caption, «Bts of a fun photo shoot this weekend ☺️😁,» mentioning brothers and photographers Luca and Alessandro Morelli.
Lohan’s typically dark copper hair was replaced in the pictures by a softer strawberry-blonde hue with delicate golden highlights.
Her waist-length curls fell over her shoulders as she donned a casual white T-shirt and a natural makeup look that highlighted her characteristic freckles.
Famous hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos, who called the look «churro waves» in an Instagram post, is responsible for the star’s hairstyle.
Alongside her original costars Jamie Lee Curtis and Chad Michael Murray, Lohan has started filming Freaky Friday 2, the follow-up to her 2003 comedy.
As part of her grunge, punk-rock look, Lohan’s character Anna had darker hair with big blonde highlights in the first movie.
Her most recent appearance, nevertheless, is closer to her paler blonde hair from the 2004 movie Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen.
In an interview with Nightline on June 29, the actor talked candidly about her nostalgic return to Walt Disney Studios to start work on the Freaky Friday revival.
«For me, it was when I went on to the Disney lot,» remarked Lohan. «And returning to the Disney property because it’s more than just a Freaky Friday.»
That’s The Parent Trap for me. Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen is that book. Herbie is that.
«It’s so many moments for me,» she went on. I therefore felt almost like a young child again when I arrived.»
