Taking part in the high-stakes presidential election contest between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, Madonna went to the polls in style with her gorgeous daughter, Lourdes.

The 66-year-old star of Like a Virgin, who initially supported the Rock the Vote movement in 1990, posted a sweet Instagram photo of herself strolling with her 28-year-old model daughter.

Wearing sunglasses, a baseball cap, and a black jacket, the pop icon looked lovingly at Lourdes, who she shares with her ex-boyfriend Carlos Leon.

Meanwhile, wearing a stylish black top and bright camouflage joggers, Lourdes looked much like her famous mother.

Stars like Julia Roberts, Reese Witherspoon, and Brooke Shields lit up social media to show their election excitement, and the mother-daughter pair joined a group of famous women who made it known they were voting.

Wearing a POTUS female T-shirt, the Pretty Woman alum cast her ballot.

«There are times to pray, times to hope, and times to cast your ballot.» She said, «TODAY IS THE DAY!» on Instagram.

Chelsea Handler, Valerie Bertinelli, Alyssa Milano, and Demi Moore also encouraged their followers to cast ballots.

Regarding Madonna’s fellow pop princesses, Beyonce authorized the vice president to play her song «Freedom» during her appearance on Kamala Harris’ campaign tour in Texas two weeks ago.

On one of the most significant evenings of the election, Taylor Swift, meantime, gave Harris a startling endorsement just after the sole presidential debate.

Madonna’s voting trip follows her social media celebration of Lourdes’ birthday, during which she shared heartfelt remembrances and cute old pictures.

She is also mourning the tragic passing of her brother, Christopher Ciccone, at this time.

The singer, who appears to rely on both her religion and her lover as she deals with her brother’s death from pancreatic cancer at the age of 63, went to a Kabbalah center in New York City in mid-October with her boyfriend, Akeem Morris.

In this trying period, Madonna seems to find solace in kabbalah, which Reform Judaism defines as «a part of Jewish tradition that deals with the essence of God.»

«My brother Christopher is gone,» Madonna said on Instagram a week prior in remembrance of her younger brother. For a long time, he was my closest person. It’s difficult to describe our connection.

The Material Girl singer has two half-siblings, Jennifer and Mario, from her father’s second marriage following her mother’s death from breast cancer in 1963, and five additional siblings—Anthony, Martin, Paula, and Melanie—from her parents’ marriage.

«He was in so much pain towards the end,» she wrote, reflecting on Christopher’s last days.

We clasped hands again. We danced while closing our eyes. Together. I’m relieved that he is no longer in pain.

«No one will ever be like him.» I am aware that he is dancing elsewhere.
