Mandy Moore Shares Devastating Video of Her Home Destroyed by L.A. Fire: ‘Absolutely Numb’
Mandy Moore has shared devastating footage of the destruction caused by the L.A. wildfires while driving through Altadena on January 8.
The *This Is Us* star, 40, expressed her sorrow over the devastation, showing scorched buildings and burnt-out areas in the neighborhood.
While it remains unclear whether her home was directly impacted, Moore described her community as being «leveled» and voiced deep grief for those who had lost so much.
In a follow-up post, Moore expressed relief that her family and pets managed to evacuate in time, sharing gratitude for friends who offered them shelter and supplies.
«I’m in shock and feeling numb for all so many have lost, including my family,» she wrote. «Our community is broken, but we will rebuild together.»
Moore, who lives with her husband Taylor Goldsmith and their young children, had recently completed a six-year renovation of their home. The fire, which started on January 7, spread rapidly, burning through thousands of acres and affecting over 80,000 people.
Other celebrities, including Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, also reported the loss of their homes as the fires continue to cause destruction across the region.
Spencer Pratt, Heidi Montag, and Cameron Mathison have all revealed that their homes were completely destroyed in the L.A. wildfires.
Soap actor Mathison shared a heartbreaking video showing the remnants of his home, expressing that while his family is safe, the loss is overwhelming.
«This is what’s left of our beautiful home, where our kids grew up and where they dreamed of raising their own someday,» he wrote in the post.
He also thanked everyone who reached out to offer support, acknowledging that he couldn’t respond to everyone individually. «Sending so many prayers to everyone affected by these fires,» he added.
Pratt, former *The Hills* star, posted a gut-wrenching video on TikTok, revealing that his home had been destroyed. «Nightmare came true,» he wrote in the caption.
Montag followed with a TikTok of her own, confirming their loss and expressing gratitude for the safety of their family. «Thank God we are safe… it’s just… no words,» she said, deeply moved by the support and prayers from fans.
