Michael Phelps and his wife, Nicole Johnson, marked their son Nico’s first birthday on January 19 with a special Instagram post. In the photos, Nico is dressed as a race car driver, posing with his race car-themed birthday cake.

The one-year-old is also seen enjoying a smaller cake and indulging in some sweet treats.

Phelps’ older sons — Boomer, 8, Beckett, 6, and Maverick, 5 — joined the celebration, wearing «Pit Crew» shirts while posing with their baby brother and mom.

«Happy Birthday Nico,» the couple wrote in the caption, noting his love for his brothers, puppies, and favorite foods like cottage cheese and blueberries, along with his enthusiasm for the outdoors. «We’re grateful for your first lap of life together 🏎️🤍🖤.»

Earlier in August, Michael shared a series of photos on Instagram from the 2024 Paris Olympics, where Nico was seen exploring the city with his dad and taking in the events.
