After Liam Payne’s untimely passing, Nicole Scherzinger was crushed and sent an impassioned tribute on social media.

The cause of the 31-year-old former member of One Direction’s terrible fall from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires on October 16 is still being investigated.

Liam’s bereaved father, Geoff Payne, has rushed out to help with the procedures, and authorities suspect drugs and alcohol may have been involved.

Nicole and Liam have a heartfelt relationship that began in 2010 when she was a key X Factor judge and proposed the creation of One Direction.

Nicole shared a nostalgic picture of him along with a poignant statement to mourn his premature passing: «Dear Liam, From the time One Direction was founded fifteen years ago until a few weeks ago, I will always value and love the time we spent together,» she stated.

«Getting to work with you recently was such a blessing. We had similar tastes in music, and I will always cherish the heartfelt and happy discussions we had.

Nicole Scherzinger shared a moving picture of herself and Kelly Rowland with her late buddy Liam Payne as a touching remembrance.

Nicole added a heartfelt caption to the photo, which included Liam grinning with joy.

«I am thankful to have known your kind heart, wonderful spirit, and character, even though it has been so difficult to accept that you are no longer with us.

For those who actually knew you, you filled their lives with laughter, pleasure, and light. My friend, you will always be in my heart and I shall «miss you» you.

«Your family is in my prayers and thoughts,» she added. According to the X Factor, Nicole was instrumental in the formation of One Direction in 2010, which is when she and Liam first became friends.

Nicole was contacting Liam on the day of his death in Argentina, according to composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, who is working with Nicole on the Broadway musical Sunset Blvd.

«I guess I could mention something that hasn’t been mentioned, which is that she obviously mentored Liam from One Direction.

She was still contacting him on the Wednesday he passed away,» he said in a Billboard interview.

According to Andrew, Nicole was devastated to learn of Liam’s death just before her act in New York, but she still put on a beautiful show in spite of the sadness.

She had recently learned about his passing. It’s also remarkable that she performed in the concert at all. She is a very remarkable woman,» he exclaimed.
