Outraged fans criticize «traditional wife» Gwen Stefani for endorsing a Catholic prayer app’

Gwen Stefani has sparked controversy among her fans after endorsing the Catholic prayer app Hallow.

The 55-year-old No Doubt singer recently teamed up with the popular prayer and meditation app to inspire people to pray during the holiday season.

«Christmas has always been my favorite time of the year. It’s when we celebrate the birth of our Lord,» she says in a promotional video.

«Join me and millions of Christians worldwide as we celebrate the truth that God so loved the world that he gave us his only son.»

While many fans have supported Gwen’s open expression of faith, others have criticized the Hollaback Girl singer’s religious venture.

«Trad wife transformation complete,» one fan wrote, while another exclaimed, «What the hell is this!»

A third fan commented, «I’m just going to tell myself this is AI and move on.»

One long-time supporter said, «Gwen, I’ve loved you since Tragic Kingdom, but this is seriously cringe.» Another added, «Who is this, and what have you done with the real Gwen?!»

Despite the backlash, many fans defended Gwen, noting she’s always been open about her religious beliefs.

«Gwen has ALWAYS been religious. This is nothing new, she’s just more vocal about it now,» wrote one supporter.

«Y’all do know Catholics are Christians, right? Stefani is Italian. What Italians do you know who aren’t Catholic?» added another.

A third fan said, «Gwen has always been open about her faith. She was raised Catholic, and if anything, her faith is part of why she and Blake fell for each other.»

This comes after Gwen described her relationship with Blake Shelton as a «miracle» following her split from ex-husband Gavin Rossdale.

She also shared how her view on love has evolved and expressed how protective she feels of her three children after the breakup.
