Pamela Anderson attends the Deadline Contenders Film event without makeup

When Pamela Anderson attended Deadline Contenders in Los Angeles on Saturday, she looked stunning in a long white blouse and pleated skirt.

Nude, pointy-toed heels were used by the 57-year-old former Baywatch star to break up the ensemble.

In keeping with her makeup-free routine, the mother of two, who is starring in Gia Coppola’s forthcoming thriller The Last Showgirl, showed off her freckled face.

Her trademark golden hair cascaded freely down her back, split down the center.

Anderson plays a seasoned showgirl in The Last Showgirl who has to plan her future after her show ends suddenly after 30 years.

A first-look teaser for the film, which is scheduled for release on January 10, 2025, enthralled viewers and generated Oscar talk earlier this week.

Kiernan Shipka, Brenda Song, and Jamie Lee Curtis are also included.

Anderson has raised hopes that the portrayal would earn her an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress.

Variety writer Peter Debruge, meanwhile, hailed Curtis’ portrayal as a «force of nature.»

«Anderson is remarkable in this role, which fits her own natural optimism but also gives her the chance to play her emotions laid bare,» observed Pete Hammond of Deadline. Your heart will be broken by her.

«Her dramatic skills have never been there before, definitely not on this scale,» the critic went on to say. «I have always thought she was an underrated comedic actress, based especially on her short-lived 2005 sitcom Stacked.» She is fully committed to this.

Anderson’s most recent performance was in the 2017 Baywatch movie, when she played the legendary character of CJ Parker.

In January 2023, she released her memoir, Love, Pamela, and participated in her Netflix documentary, Pamela, A Love Story.

Pamela stated that she had «been getting ready my whole life for this role» before the film’s September Toronto International Film Festival debut.

«It’s amazing to draw from having a beautiful, messy life, and sometimes I’ll look back on my life and think, I could have done this differently, but you need the life experience to be able to look back and say those things,» she said.

«An annual daylong awards-season kickoff event,» according to Deadline, Contenders Film: Los Angeles brings together «stars and talent of films competing for the top honors during the upcoming awards season.»

Over 20 films were shown at this year’s event, which brought together filmmakers and actors for discussions at the Director’s Guild of America.

Kevin Costner, 69, was one of the panelists and spoke about his movie Horizon: An American Saga — Chapter 1.

Among the well-known attendees were Lupita Nyong’o, Julianne Moore, Saoirse Ronan, and Tilda Swinton.
