Patrick Mahomes’ son, Bronze, celebrated his second birthday in style with a special Adidas shoe colorway created just for him
Patrick Mahomes recently featured a very special guest in his latest Adidas commercial: his son, Patrick «Bronze» Lavon Mahomes III.
On November 25, the three-time Super Bowl champion shared a sneak peek of his latest collaboration with Adidas on Instagram. The heartwarming video, which previews the commercial, showcases his nearly two-year-old son, Bronze, just ahead of his birthday on November 28.
The footage features Mahomes, Bronze, and the bronze-colored shoes, flashing across the screen in red and black tones. Observant viewers may also spot Mahomes’ 3-year-old daughter, Sterling Skye, sitting on a matching bronze tricycle.
«Three rings, three stripes, three generations,» Mahomes says in a voiceover, referring to himself, his son, and his father, former MLB pitcher Pat Mahomes.
«The legend lives on the field,» the quarterback continues, as he and Bronze play together, with the toddler holding a sparkling football. «The legacy lives at home.» Mahomes captioned the post, «For Bronze ⏰. Celebrating Bronze’s birthday with his own colorway, available now at adidas.com.»
Adidas also shared the commercial on their social media, showcasing the exclusive bronze-colored shoes, which feature a glittery twist on the classic Adidas stripes and bronze laces.
«Third time’s the charm ⏰,» Adidas captioned the post, revealing the name of the collection as «Mahomes 2 Bronze.»
Brittany Mahomes, Patrick’s wife, shared the promo video on her Instagram Stories and expressed her excitement at seeing their son on screen. «Omg my wittle Bronze,» she wrote.
Mahomes has long collaborated with Adidas on various projects, including shoes and jerseys. Earlier this year, he partnered with the brand to offer NIL (name, image, and likeness) deals to six students from his alma mater, Texas Tech. These student-athletes, representing multiple sports, will take part in marketing campaigns for Mahomes’ signature products.
«The partnership with Adidas has been incredible from the start. We’ve been selecting athletes who are among the best and embody the drive and passion we want in Team Mahomes,» Mahomes said when announcing the collaboration in July.
In addition to Bronze and Sterling, the Mahomes family is preparing for the arrival of their third child. Brittany, who married Mahomes in 2022 after a decade of dating, revealed the news in July with a heartwarming video of their family photo shoot in white outfits, celebrating their growing family.
