Rihanna reveals she «didn’t drink all year» in a celebratory post welcoming 2025, saying, «New Year, New Me.»
Rihanna is embracing a fresh start in 2025 with a focus on sobriety!
The 36-year-old singer revealed that she remained alcohol-free throughout 2024 as she celebrated the arrival of the new year on Instagram.
In the video, shared on January 1, Rihanna and friends can be seen cheering as they count down to midnight, with Rihanna holding up her phone to show the iconic Times Square ball drop.
Once the clock struck twelve, she proudly exclaimed, “Y’all, I didn’t drink all year! I didn’t drink all year.”
She captioned the post with «New Year, New Me.» But that wasn’t the only thing she was clearing out. Rihanna also posted a playful video of herself and a friend having fun while using Fenty Hair shampoo to clean a hair extension.
“You owe me a new bottle!” Rihanna teased in the clip. “For one stinkin’ track!”
Rihanna and her friend had a blast cleaning up the hair extension, and she captioned the fun moment, “De Dirt!!! We’re stepping into 2025 CLEANSED, baby! One track at a time! Also, tell @mdollas11 to stay out of my bathroom!”
Rihanna rang in the New Year in New York City alongside her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, with whom she shares two sons, RZA, 2, and Riot, 1.
In October, Rihanna shared her go-to wardrobe choices for parenting her lively boys. “I look for anything cozy, stretchy, and easy to bend down and pick my kids up in,” she told. “I need things that won’t scratch me or them. Being a mom involves a lot of work!”
A$AP Rocky, 36, recently discussed how Rihanna influences their sons’ fashion choices. “I don’t contribute to their outfits,” he said in December. “Sometimes she dresses them like me with kilts and stuff, but that’s all her. She’s got great style and taste.”
