Selena Gomez in 2 stunning red looks in the London Film Festival
Selena Gomez is red hot!
On Friday, October 11, the 32-year-old singer and actress was in London promoting her most recent film, Emilia Pérez, and she looked stunning in two red gowns.
Gomez looked amazing in a floor-length Oscar De La Renta gown with a dramatic bow tie accent at the waist and a voluminous skirt for the film’s premiere at the BFI London Film Festival.
She wore her hair in a high ponytail with two thick hair tendrils framing her face, and she accented the outfit with a silver necklace and many silver rings.
The creator of Rare Beauty posed for pictures during the event with director Jacques Audiard and co-stars Zoe Saldaña, Karla Sofía Gascón, and Adriana Paz.
Gomez was seen sporting yet another eye-catching red outfit as she attended a showing of the film at the Ham Yard Hotel in the British capital.
The celebrity wore a red dress that was tight and off-the-shoulder, which she accessorized with red shoes for the occasion.
Gomez maintained the same level of glitz, jewelry, and hairstyle as she did for her Oscar De La Renta outfit.
Prior to the film festival, Gomez, her co-stars, and the director of the film had a photocall in London earlier in the day. The celebrity wore a long, sleeveless black gown there.
Gomez donned a different dark-colored outfit to an event hosted by Deadline Contenders at London’s Ham Yard Hotel on Saturday, October 12.
Gomez paired the large jacket on the dark gray trouser suit with a black shirt and black belt to complete the ensemble.
Gomez’s latest endeavor is a Spanish-language movie-musical that had its premiere and won two prizes at the Cannes Film Festival in May.
A description of the movie reads: «Through liberating song and dance and bold visuals, this odyssey follows the journey of four remarkable women in Mexico, each pursuing their own happiness.»
According to the description, «Rita (Saldaña), an underappreciated lawyer stuck in a dead-end job, is enlisted by the fearsome cartel leader Emilia to help fake her death so that Emilia can finally live authentically as her true self.»
Gomez discussed her role as Jessi Del Monte at the Toronto Film Festival in September, highlighting the parallels between the real-life lady and her on-screen persona.
