«She’s quite homely», Cara Delevingne claims she took Taylor Swift on a ‘wild ride’ while they lived together
Cara Delevingne reminisces about her time living with Taylor Swift.
During an interview with comedian Nikki Glaser for Interview Magazine, which was published on November 21, the model, 32, said that she moved in with Swift, 34, after a traumatic split.
«I was going through a really horrible breakup, and she let me live with her,» Delevingne, who is now in a relationship with Minke, explained.
«We are quite different individuals. She’s extremely homely, because she cared after me so well, but we got into some — not trouble, but I definitely took her on a crazy trip,» she said.
She continued: «Just to get her to blush would be great.»
Delevingne also discussed Swift’s sense of humor and how the «Fortnight» singer can mock anyone.
«The thing about Taylor, though, is I’ve seen her do a speech at someone’s wedding before, and it was a roast,» the Only Murders in the Building actor said.
«She’s one of the funniest and most astute people. Anyone could easily roast her, but she could f— everyone up so hard,» Delevingne added, adding that she could also roast Swift as a result of their time living together.
Delevingne and Swift have been pals for many years. They were photographed on a group excursion with Selena Gomez, Sophie Turner, Brittany Mahomes, and Gigi Hadid in November when they traveled to Bond St restaurant in New York City for supper.
The actress also accompanied Swift on her Eras Tour last year, attending the pop star’s May 2023 performance at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Meanwhile, Swift supported her old friend during her months-long performance in Cabaret on the West End in London in May of this year.
Delevingne also expressed her support for Swift’s relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, telling E! News at the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix: «I’m so, so happy for her.»
«There’s definitely something very different about them,» she told me.
