Sofía Vergara reveals she’s manifesting «a boyfriend» for 2025, adding with a smile, «Or maybe a lover!»
Sofía Vergara is setting her sights on love once again!
In a recent interview with *Access Hollywood* at the 2025 Golden Globes on January 5, the 52-year-old actress shared her New Year’s aspirations, including «health, money, and a boyfriend,» adding with a laugh, «or a lover, maybe.»
Vergara was nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in an Anthology Series for her role in *Griselda* but lost out to Jodie Foster, star of *True Detective: Night Country*.
During the awards show, Vergara and Foster had a playful exchange. As Foster began her acceptance speech, Vergara jokingly called out, «No, no! Give me one!» Foster responded by giving Vergara a heartfelt mention, saying,
«The greatest thing about being this age and being in this time is having a community of all these people, especially you, Sofía.»
Vergara’s personal life has been making headlines since her split from husband Joe Manganiello in July 2023, after seven years of marriage.
The couple had started dating in 2014, became engaged in December of that year, and finalized their divorce in April 2024.
In an interview with *El País* earlier in 2024, Vergara opened up about the reasons behind their split, mentioning differences over expanding their family.
«My marriage broke up because my husband was younger; he wanted to have kids and I didn’t want to be an old mom,» she said. «I respect whoever does it, but that’s not for me anymore.»
Since then, Vergara has been romantically linked to orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman. The two were seen together during a romantic Italian getaway in July, where Vergara posted a photo of Justin relaxing, simply captioned with a heart emoji.
