Strictly’s Pete Wicks goes on final date night with Maura Higgins before she flies out to Australia for I’m A Celeb
Before leaving for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here in Australia, Maura Higgins had one last date night with her new partner, Pete Wicks. as a supposed belated arrival.
Prior to spending weeks apart, the 33-year-old Love Island star and her 36-year-old ex TOWIE star Pete were spending some quality time together.
Later in the series, Maura and Reverend Richard Coles are anticipated to enter the camp as part of their participation in the ITV program.
After being originally connected in August, Pete and Maura’s relationship was officially confirmed last month in London with a PDA-filled performance.
Maura flaunted her toned legs in a white frilly skirt paired with a black velvet waistcoat for their date night out at the London Palladium, where they were hearing pianist Ludovico Einaudi.
She wore her shiny brunette hair straight, clutched a modest purse, and accentuated her height with pointed shoes.
By her side Strictly star Pete grabbed his phone while wearing a stylish black suit with a roll collar.
The two appeared content and at ease together. They had originally met in 2019 following Maura’s time on Love Island.
It seems that Maura and Pete are now spending more time together, even though Pete has been connected to his Strictly dancing partner Jowita Przystal.
Pete and Maura were spotted sharing a kiss in the street outside the Gloria restaurant in Shoreditch at the end of October.
A few days prior, during an appearance on Paul Brunson’s We Need To Talk podcast, Maura had spoken out about the rumors circulating about her affair with Pete.
Maura informed the presenter, «We just get on very, very well,» in response to Paul’s question about whether she and Pete «were a thing.» He is a wonderful person, and I admire him.
«You know what’s so strange?» We hit right away when we first met, just after I left Love Island.
We share the same sense of humor. It’s similar to that dark, nasty humor. It is quite abusive. We mistreat one another. It’s funny, but really unpleasant.
Maura previously dated Strictly Come Dancing pro Giovanni Pernice, her Love Island co-stars Christopher Taylor and Curtis Pritchard, and her American stuntman lover Bobby Holland Hanton, with whom she broke up earlier this year.
But Pete’s date evenings will soon be replaced with something quite different for the reality star.
Maura was revealed earlier this month as one of the well-known faces participating in this year’s I’m A Celeb.
It was previously claimed that following boxer Tommy Fury’s last-minute withdrawal, I’m A Celebrity executives had their sights set on Maura.
Maura, Molly-Mae Hague’s best friend, was being considered by ITV to replace him in the jungle. The executives were hoping that the Irish beauty would reveal the truth about her buddy.
