The lawsuit, brought by insurance company American Transit, claims fraud. Sunny and the couple’s attorney, Mark Geragos, argue the suit is without merit.
The *The View* co-host, 56, stated that American Transit is attempting to avoid paying for medical procedures for insured individuals in pain.
The lawsuit was filed in February 2024 by Uber, accusing American Transit of consistently mishandling claims and failing to resolve them appropriately.
