Taylor Swift fan dishes on booking 191 hotel rooms in New Orleans for Eras Tour

The «Holiday House» festivities scheduled for October 24–28 are anticipated to draw thousands of people.
Fox’s personal experience at her debut Eras Tour performance served as the impetus for the convention.

This weekend, Taylor Swift’s sold-out Eras Tour will make its second stop in North America in New Orleans.
Those who do not already reside in the region have probably spent a significant amount of money on travel expenses before the performance.
Over the course of more than a year, Rebecca Fox has bought a block of 191 hotel rooms at the Holiday Inn in an effort to lower the upfront costs that visitors to Louisiana will have to pay.
As she has attracted the community’s attention and invited hundreds of Swifties to attend her Eras Tour «convention,» called Holiday House, the project’s scope has only expanded.
Swift’s legendary song «The Last Great American Dynasty» served as the inspiration for the moniker, which was derived from her personal experience witnessing the award-winning artist perform live at the beginning of the global tour.
As a huge admirer of Taylor since the beginning, Fox adds, «I knew that the one thing I had to do was see it before anybody else did when Eras [Tour] was announced.»
She would have to pay hundreds of dollars for flights and accommodations, so getting the tickets to the tour’s opening night was only one step in the fight.
She spent fewer than twenty-four hours in Phoenix for the one-night gig, yet she managed to find ways to get there, including riding a train to Los Angeles and renting a car.
«I was unable to exchange bracelets. I was unable to meet anyone. «I was unable to snap a picture outside the stadium,» Fox claims.
Swift created the Holiday House weekend of activities in part because she missed the chance to interact and socialize with other Swift fans.
New Orleans is where I call home. She adds, «I could have easily avoided spending the money, stayed at home, and driven to and from the [Caesars] Superdome.»
However, it was like, «No, I want to experience something.» I’d like to get very involved with this. For the entire three days she is here, I want to savor every second of it.
How can I accomplish that? I arrange the events I want to attend out of selfishness.
Fox acknowledges that she suspected Swift would make a stop in New Orleans before the singer even revealed the second North American leg of the tour.
Inquiring about Swift’s potential performance, she phoned the Superdome using the contacts she had cultivated around the city.
