Golden Globes 2025 host and comedian Nikki Glaser has taken her Taylor Swift fandom to extraordinary heights, estimating she spent nearly $100,000 attending 22 Eras Tour concerts over the past two years.

“This includes everything—travel, hotels, tickets, merch, and flying in and hosting the friends I invited to join me,” says Glaser, 40. The self-proclaimed die-hard Swiftie calls the expense “absolutely worth it,” even admitting, “I would’ve paid even more.”

There are Swifties, and then there are Swifties. It’s clear Glaser firmly belongs to the latter category.

“It’s nice to see the total she made,” Glaser says of Swift’s record-breaking $2,077,618,725 in ticket sales over 21 months, adding, “I could see my own money in that number and think, ‘Yep, there it is.’”

Glaser, whose stand-up special Someday You’ll Die earned her a Golden Globe nomination this year, justifies the expense by comparing it to the cost of raising kids—a choice she consciously opted against. “

Once I saw that number, I thought, ‘It’s no problem for me to spend this on Taylor Swift,’” says Glaser, who is dating producer Chris Convy.

“People spend that much on their kids playing hockey for a few years, so it’s fine,” Glaser jokes.

She adds, “No one shames parents for spending money on kids, but somehow going to 22 Taylor Swift shows makes me ‘privileged.’

If I didn’t buy the $6,000 ticket, some hedge fund guy would’ve gotten it for his niece. I wish the system were fairer, maybe a lottery.”

Glaser’s Swift spending skyrocketed over the past year, jumping from $25,000 for nine shows by October 2023 to her current total.

“It fills my life with joy,” she says. “If I had kids, I’d be paying for things like dance camp or swim lessons anyway.”
