Taylor Swift Surprises Young Fan with the Most Popular Hair Tool of the Season — and Her Response Will Bring Tears to Your Eyes

Despite celebrating her 35th birthday, Taylor Swift made sure to brighten someone else’s day.
The 14-time Grammy award winner put a big smile on a young girl’s face the day after her visit to fans at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City on December 12, right after wrapping up her record-breaking Eras Tour.
During her visit, 35-year-old Taylor Swift asked a young hospital patient what she wanted for Christmas. The girl mentioned a Dyson Airwrap, and the next day, Swift surprised her with the $600 gift, along with a note that read, «In case Santa doesn’t come through. Love, Taylor Swift.»
A heartwarming video of the moment, shared on the @swiftiesforeternity Instagram, shows the girl, wearing a 1989 T-shirt, excitedly unwrapping the gift.
“It’s a Dyson Air!” she exclaims. The video, credited to the girl’s mother, has garnered over 59,000 likes and nearly 900 comments.
During her Kansas City hospital visit, Taylor Swift wore a $4,500 tartan Miu Miu set, including a $2,250 pleated skirt and matching button-down top, complementing her plaid outfits throughout the year. One patient called her look «tea,» which made Swift smile.
In a TikTok from the same visit, Swift signed an Eras Tour book for a fan named Naya, who had complimented her outfit. «Thank you for saying my outfit was ‘tea,'» Swift replied.
Naya enthusiastically praised everything about Swift’s look, including her hair, which led Swift to say, «You made my day with that.»
Swift also shared special moments with other patients, including Rylie, to whom she gifted a signed Eras Tour book, as captured in photos posted by Anita Belt on Facebook.
In one photo, Swift smiled while holding a blanket that read «Go Taylor’s Boyfriend,» a reference to her beau, Travis Kelce, star of the Kansas City Chiefs, who wasn’t with her at the hospital.
Additionally, two fans filmed a TikTok with Swift, singing along to «Bad Blood.» The video was posted with the caption, «Boy ain’t no way I [just] woke up and tripped out with Taylor Swift.»
