Travis Kelce praised Taylor Swift for her skill in «breaking the ice» with new people, calling her «a pro» at making others feel comfortable
During the Jan. 29 episode of the *New Heights* podcast, Travis Kelce shared his admiration for Taylor Swift’s ability to make people feel at ease, especially when meeting new people.
Brandon Borders, also known as «Intern Brandon» on the podcast, recalled how Swift warmly welcomed him and his friend, Jake Chatzky, into the Chiefs’ VIP box at Arrowhead Stadium.
He was surprised when Swift immediately recognized them and called out their names as soon as they walked in.
“She said our names immediately, it was like, ‘Oh my God. Brandon, Jake, finally!’ We were floored,” Brandon shared.
Travis expressed his pride in Swift’s ability to break the ice, calling her “a pro” at it. Brandon joked that Swift might have sensed their nerves and described their energy as “middle school dance energy.”
Brandon also mentioned that Swift complimented the podcast, to which Travis confirmed that she listens every week.
“She gave us some creative compliments,” Brandon said, jokingly declaring that he’d now feel confident about their podcast for life.
Swift was also present at the Chiefs’ win over the Buffalo Bills on Jan. 26, which secured their spot in the Super Bowl. After the game, she and Travis shared a kiss on the field.
The Chiefs are set to play the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 9, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
