What was the last message that Liam Payne sent to his ex-girlfriend Danielle Peazer weeks before his tragic death? (Exclusive)
After falling multiple storeys from a hotel balcony, the musician passed away on October 16 at the age of 31.
Danielle Peazer, Liam Payne’s ex-girlfriend, is sharing the last letter the late singer wrote to her before his away.
On Sunday, October 20, Peazer, 36, posted a long Instagram post in which she reminisced about their time together as a relationship and a heartfelt note Payne had given her about her family.
«His most important role and something he was the most proud of out of all of his monumental successes was that he was a father,» Peazer said of Payne in another section of her speech.
I will continue to help you in any way I can, but the depth of this loss is unfathomable.»
Using the One Direction alum’s initials, «LJP,» Peazer then posted a note that was addressed straight to him, stating that his passing «still doesn’t feel real.»
«I prayed and hoped that this day would never come, even though I knew of your hardships over the years. However, we are all now confronted with the fact that we must live without you,» the dancer remarked.
«It’s common at times like this for people to say ‘I hope he knew how much I cared about him’ but I know that you knew how I felt, it was one thing we were really good at — being brutally honest with our feelings for each other, whether the other wanted to hear it or not.»
Even though Peazer reportedly referred to Payne as her «favorite person in the whole world,» she said that during their relationship years, they frequently disagreed.
«You could also wind me up so much and I probably annoyed the hell out of you sometimes too,» she said.
«It took a little longer for you to figure out the person you wanted to be in order to be your happiest, but whilst most of us have our teens and twenties to learn about ourselves, you spent those years giving more to the world than you ever needed to,» she continued.
Additionally, Peazer expressed gratitude to Payne for «teaching me about the importance of setting boundaries, and that I should always protect my heart.»
She signed the poignant message, saying, «Rest easy my friend.» «I’m sorry your story didn’t end differently, and I’m sorry you didn’t ever get to share more of your magic with the world,» she said.
On Saturday, October 19, Peazer had earlier shared a small homage to the late singer.
She posted on her Instagram Stories, «I’ve been trying to process the news of Liam’s death over the last few days.»
«We appreciate everyone who has taken the time to provide support and condolences via phone, text, or direct message. You don’t realize how much it has helped.
