With his wife Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck attended the Grammy Awards, although he didn’t look overly excited to be there. Ben and Jen didn’t walk the red carpet, but they were in the front row for the ceremony.
The four-hour show featured J.Lo as a presenter, and Ben stood by her side the entire time. Fans on Twitter claimed that he appeared «miserable» each time the cameras panned to him.
When the cameras turned to Ben and Jen, he was barely nodding his head along to the music at a time when everyone was up on their feet dancing to a performance.
A video of the incident was posted on Twitter with the comment, «Ben Afleck wants to go home Jen.» While Ben was looking around the room unenthusiastically, Jennifer was swaying to the music in her seat.
Trevor Noah, the show’s host, was seated next to Jen and Ben as the next commercial break started. The two engaged in a fleeting conversation as they appeared unaware that the cameras had started shooting once more.
Jen seemed to chastise Ben a little when he spoke in her ear. But when they learned they were being recorded, Jennifer stood up and grinned for viewers back home.
Ben was mocked on Twitter by fans for his responses to everything that was happening. One person made a joke about how «Ben Affleck is how every male dragged to a couples baby shower looks,» and another said that «Ben Affleck would rather be anywhere else than front row at the Grammys watching Stevie Wonder destroy Higher Ground.»
This Is Me, Jennifer’s newest album, will be released sometime this year. The album Now is a sequel to This Is Me…Then from 2002.
During Jen and Ben’s first relationship, the first album was released, which caused them to break off their engagement in 2004. However, in 2021 they reconnected and reconciled. In her new album, Jen sings about rekindling the relationship. They ultimately made it down the aisle in the summer of 2022.
