Alyssa Milano’s son turns 13 today, and she says: he’s my teenager now
Alyssa Milano is officially a mom to a teenager!
The Charmed actress, 51, celebrated her son Milo’s 13th birthday on Saturday, Aug 31, with a sweet Instagram post commemorating the big milestone.
She shared several baby pictures of Milo — whom she shares with husband David Bugliari — along with snapshots of him playing baseball.
«A teenager!» Milano excitedly began her caption. «Anyone who knows Milo knows what a special person he is. For those of you who don’t know him, let me tell you a bit about him.»
Milano went on to share that her son is kind, thoughtful, a straight-A student and a two-time athletic scholar award recipient.
«He is a GREAT athlete. He plays 3 instruments. He loves animals and his family. He’s brave, always protecting and standing up for his friends and teammates,» she continued.
«Can you tell I’m proud of him? Gah!! I love him so much,» Milano added.
Milano then reflected on the reality of her son growing up. «As a mom, I try really hard not to say things like ‘you’ll always be my baby’. Because—he won’t. He isn’t,» she wrote. «And I think it’s important for me to celebrate who he is right now and then the man he will become.»
She continued: «And I want to recognize the mom he needs along the way on his journey—which will change and evolve. I will always hold on to the memories of when he was my baby. But now he’s my teenager. And I love that guy.»
She concluded her birthday tribute with: «Happy Birthday, Bubby.»
Milano and Bugliari also share daughter Elizabella, who turns 10 on Sept. 4.
