While filming «Wicked,» Grande and Slater, who play Glinda and Boq, got to know one another in late 2022.
Helping others is Ariana Grande’s main goal.
When the 31-year-old singer of Eternal Sunshine fixed her boyfriend Ethan Slater’s bow tie on the red carpet on Saturday, November 9, at the Los Angeles premiere of their film Wicked, she shared a beautiful moment with him.
Alongside Cynthia Erivo, Jeff Goldblum, and other Wicked cast members, as well as Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel, who starred in the original Broadway run of the musical, the pop sensation and Slater, 32, posed for pictures at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.
Grande extended her arm to fix Slater’s tie while grinning broadly.
In a bespoke Thom Browne pink-and-white gingham dress and bolero jacket, the singer of «We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)» paid homage to her Wicked character Glinda.
Gloves and a sophisticated updo completed the ensemble. In contrast, Slater wore a dapper green velvet suit.
In an Oct. 30 GQ interview, Slater, who portrays the character Boq in the film, expressed his admiration for Grande’s performance in their new movie and said he is «really proud» of her.
The Broadway actor stated, «She’s poured herself into it,» and he expressed his excitement to be present for the next phase of it, when the world would be able to see the incredible feat she accomplished.

She also discussed the difficulties of a relationship in which one is in public.
«Some of the hard parts that you’re talking about are the personal-life stuff that everybody in the world goes through,» he said. «And so I am really focused on the real people in my life, who those things affect, and doing right by every real person and not the Twitter people who comment on it.»
