Camila Cabello shows up to be reacting to Sabrina’s diss track almost her undertaking
Camila Cabello used social media on Friday to tease new music that some fans think is a clapback to Sabrina Carpenter’s purported diss track about her and ex Shawn Mendes’ on-off relationship.
Taking to Instagram, where she regularly engages 65 million followers, the 27-year-old pop star uploaded a teaser for an upcoming song called Godspeed.
‘i wish you well, but far away from me. godspeed. 9/6,’ she wrote in the caption.
Various snippets in the seconds-long clip showed the blonde songstress submerged in the ocean.
Cabello, Carpenter, 25, and Mendes, 26, are all scheduled to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards on September 11.
Camila also revealed this week that she plans to drop a deluxe edition of her album C,XOXO which was released in June.
The updated album title is called Magic City Edition, a nod to Miami, where the singer was raised.
She shared an alternate cover photo and wrote in the caption, always more stories to tell. some new songs for your night in Magic City. 9/6.’
The new cover snapshot shows the Havana hitmaker neck-high in the ocean with her hair slick with water.
With a sultry expression on her face, she’s captured with one arm outstretched above her head.
The post has so far collected more than 326,000 likes from her fanbase, who are excitedly awaiting the new tunes.
Per the rumor mill, Sabrina and Shawn sparked a romance in February 2023, although neither has confirmed the relationship.
Around the same time, Camila and the In My Blood crooner were spotted together, leading fans to surmise the trio was caught in a love triangle.
